Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 7, 2026
This policy is placeholder content and is not legal advice. It will be reviewed and updated before ZeroDo’s general release.
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how ZeroDo (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our task-management app (the “Service”). We aim to collect as little as we need to run ZeroDo well.
2. Information we collect
Account information: your email address, which we use for passwordless sign-in, and an optional nickname.
Your content: the collections, tasks, notes, and related items you create in ZeroDo.
Usage and device data: basic logs such as app interactions, IP address, browser or device type, and timestamps, used to keep the Service secure and working.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to provide and maintain the Service, authenticate you, sync your content across your devices, respond to support requests, keep the Service secure, and improve how it works. We do not sell your personal information.
4. How we share information
We share information with service providers who help us operate ZeroDo — for example our hosting and database provider (Supabase) and infrastructure vendors — under agreements that limit their use of it to providing services to us.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users’ safety, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.
5. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it for legal or security reasons.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Because sign-in is passwordless, keeping your email account secure is an important part of protecting your ZeroDo account.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can access and delete much of your data directly in the app, or contact us to make a request.
8. Children’s privacy
ZeroDo is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. International transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than where you live. Where we do, we take steps to ensure your information receives an adequate level of protection.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
